Workshop. |
|
Purpose:
|
To
focus on recent advanced technologies and methods within radioecology,
particularly speciation research related to the chemical, physical
and morphological state of radionuclides as they appear in various
compartments in environmental and biological systems. In addition,
advanced techniques for measuring low level activity concentrations
of radionuclides and their species, isotopic and atom ratios will
be highlighted.
To provide a forum at which recent progress in analytical methodology
related to speciation of radionuclides can be discussed and to provide
an opportunity for an interchange of ideas between radioanalysts
and scientists investigating fundamental aspects of assessment of
dose to living organisms including man. |
|
Topics:
|
1. Sampling,
Fractionation, Separation and Detection of Radionuclides Species
in:
- Air
- Water
- Soil and
Sediments
- Biological
Systems
- Other
matrices
2. Determination
of Isotope and Atom Ratios.
3. Advanced Techniques for Radionuclide Speciation, including Characterization
of Radioactive Particles.
4. Thermodynamic and Kinetic Aspects.
5. Radionuclide Speciation in Environmental Impact and Dose Assessment. |
