WORLD WIDE WEB TO BE FOCUS OF JUNE 3 NIST CONFERENCE

Event: Human Factors and the Web Conference The National Institute of Standards and Technology invites reporters to cover a conference on an intriguing field of research. Companies and organizations are developing ways to measure how easy it is to use a particular web site. As a result, web site design is becoming a science as well as an art. Researchers from several different countries will present the latest findings in this field. Effective web site design is expected to give savvy companies an edge in the burgeoning electronic commerce arena.

NIST is hosting the conference, which is sponsored by AT&T Labs, Bell Atlantic Corp., the National Association of Securities Dealers Inc. and Oracle Corp.
