Media Advisory NIST to Dedicate New Advanced Chemical Sciences Laboratory
	Reporters are invited to attend the dedication ceremony of the new Advanced Chemical Sciences Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Special features in this new 18,588 square-meter (200,000 square-foot) building will permit improved chemical measurements and standards for health care, the environment and industry.
When:	Monday, March 8, 10:30 a.m.
Where:	In front of the Advanced Chemical Sciences Laboratory at NIST, 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, Md.
What:	Dedication of NIST’s newest building, the Advanced Chemical Sciences Laboratory.
Tours:	Members of the media are invited to tour selected sections of the new building, which is not yet fully occupied or operational, following the dedication. Among the speakers will be Commerce Secretary William Daley, U.S. Senators Paul Sarbanes and Barbara Mikulski, Representative Connie Morella, Montgomery County Executive Douglas Duncan and NIST’s Chemical Science and Technology Laboratory Director Hratch Semerjian.
