Synchrotron radiation in the Sensor Science Division

These projects employ radiation, which spans the wavelength range of the far-infrared to soft x-rays, from the NIST Synchrotron Ultraviolet Radiation Facility (SURF III) for applications in the fields of radiometry, optical properties measurement, sensor calibration, microscopy, imaging, spectroscopy, and radiation damage of optical surfaces, components, and materials.
