Ryan Fitzgerald

Dr. Fitzgerald carries out research in radioactivity metrology to meet demands from a variety of sectors: basic science, energy, health, security,  and environmental.

His work focuses on the following methods:

  • β-γ anti-coincidence counting
  • 4πγ integral counting
  • Re-entrant ionization chamber calibrations
  • Liquid Scintillation counting
  • Proportional counting
  • Computer models of radiation detectors
