Award-winning communicator with more than 24 years of experience in communications management, including public relations/outreach, writing/editorial services, publication design/production, Web site development, and marketing programs. 10½ years of project management and technical experience as a consultant managing projects for the U.S. Department of Energy.

Role

Customer Engagement Director for the Division and the NIST Combinatorial Methods Center (NCMC).  Manages the internal and external communications activities of the Division and the NCMC through the development, writing, design, and production of materials and publications, including reports, Web sites, CDs, Division E-Newsletter, fact sheets, and posters.  Plans and executes outreach activities and projects, including the semi-annual NCMC industry Workshop.  Develops customer contacts to attract membership and retention in the NCMC consortium.  Performs selected outreach activities for the Materials Science and Engineering Operation (MSEL).  Combined Federal Campaign MSEL Team Captain (2007) and Polymers Key Worker (2006).
