Welcome

The Cell and Tissue Mechanics Group develops new methods to quantify the mechanical properties of biological materials and to measure their dynamic response to environmental stimuli. These methods are designed to provide medical researchers and the medical device industry with expanded capabilities to assess the fundamental behavior of cells and tissue and their interactions with other materials to enable new discoveries in disease diagnosis and treatment, including applications in regenerative medicine.
