Research Interests:
My research uses a wide variety of experimental techniques, such as light scattering, microscopy, neutron/X-ray scattering, and rheometry,to study mesoscale structure and dynamics in multiphase polymeric materials. Of particular interest is how interactions between polymers and asymmetric nanoparticles influence the physical properties of complex fluids, both in equilibrium and under the highly nonequilibrium conditions encountered during processing.
