Precision optical, x-ray, and gamma-ray measurements. Nearly perfect crystal lattice spacing measurements. Measurements related to the determination of fundamental constants.

Performed precision crystal lattice measurements at NIST, represented NIST to the International Avogadro Coordination Committee, and trained NIST scientists on the use and maintenance of the delta-d spectrometer
