Jessica’s research interests include optical microscopy analysis of microparticles, explosives and narcotics trace detection, biotechnology, and inkjet printing technology. As a forensic toxicologist, she focuses on the forensic aspects of explosives and narcotics detection which include microparticle analysis, trace residue collection efficiency, and optimal collection media. Current efforts include developing gelatin-based vapor calibration sources for vapor-based trace detectors. Selected Publications
