Kenneth began his career at NBS in the areas of hydrodynamic voltammetry and trace-level amperometric and polarographic measurements. Subsequently, his emphasis has moved into the practice and theory of primary measurements (coulometry, pH, electrolytic conductivity) supporting the corresponding SRM programs. He has performed the NIST electrochemical measurements for 9 CCQM Key Comparisons, 6 CCQM Pilot Studies, and 4 SIM Pilot Studies, and has been involved in the certification of over 100 SRMs. Current research interests include primary electrochemical methods, trace level electroanalytical techniques (voltammetry and ASV), and the history of science and technology. He is the author or co-author of over 30 peer-reviewed publications in these areas.
