Karen E. Murphy

Karen’s research involves the chemical and instrumental aspects of inorganic isotope dilution inductively coupled plasma and thermal ionization mass spectrometry including the development of high accuracy sample preparation procedures utilizing chemical separations. She has been involved in the certification of over 80 Standard Reference Materials and participated in nine CCQM Key and Pilot international inter-comparison exercises. She has authored or co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications describing these activities.
