Mike’s employment at NIST encompasses new SRM certification and recertification of various gas mixtures, as well as NTRM certification and recertification. He schedules the QA testing of existing SRM lots. In addition he is responsible for the production, verification and QA of a complete suite of SO2/N2 NIST primary standard materials. He also oversees the Reference Gas Material (RGM) program which produces unique gas standards not covered by the SRM or NTRM program. He gives regular talks to specialty gas and environmental personnel at Pittcon.
