Department of Commerce Silver Medal Award

The Department of Commerce Silver Medal Award is the second highest honorary award granted by the Secretary.  A Silver Medal is defined as exceptional performance characterized by noteworthy or superlative contributions which have a direct and lasting impact within the Department.

Mr. Kim and Dr. White received the Department of Commerce Silver Medal Award for providing critical data leading to new practices for acceptance testing of electronic components used in active implantable medical devices.
