About the Event
Forum was held on May 3, 2012 at Union Station in Kansas City, MO. MEP and DOT's Federal Railroad Administration partnered with the Kansas and Missouri MEP affiliates and brought together large car builders with smaller, capable and interested U.S. manufacturers to facilitate reaching the goal of 100% domestic content in rail cars. Additional partnering organization also joined the forum as sponsors of the event from a grant received through the multi-agency Jobs and Innovation Accelerator Grant program.
