‘Jobs and Innovation Accelerator Challenge’

Competition Now Open.

 
In recent months, NIST MEP has been involved in an effort of the Task Force on Regional Innovation Clusters (TARIC) to support a new “Jobs and Innovation Accelerator Challenge.” With funding from EDA, SBA, and DOL, and additional support from more than a dozen other federal agencies including MEP, this initiative builds on the experience of last year’s Energy-RIC competition.  A Federal Register Notice is now published announcing this forthcoming competition; you can find it here.  MEP centers are encouraged to collaborate with partners in proposing strategies to advance existing manufacturing clusters in your regions.
