Carolyn Rowland

Carolyn is the MEL Systems Administration Group Leader.

As the Group Leader Carolyn is responsible for leading the direction of MELSA, managing the MELSA budget, directing MELSA projects and leading the MELSA team in support of MEL.  Carolyn is the person you call when you need a bit of extra support or you have a comment or suggestion for MELSA.

Carolyn wears another hat as the MEL IT Security Officer (ITSO).  As the MEL ITSO, Carolyn acts as the liaison between the NIST IT Security Officer and MEL. 

She is also responsible for the IT security infrastructure of MEL, completing FISMA Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements, responding to audit requests from internal and external entities, responding to and reporting IT security incidents and assisting MEL staff with NIST IT security requirements and concerns.
