Abstract

The simple design of custom-tailored microarrays for the characterization of hyperspectral imaging systems and analysis methods for biologically relevant samples. Individual and mixtures of dyes were printed on microscope slides and imaged by a hyperspectral imaging microscope. Analysis of the spectral signatures revealed scattering and absorbance components. Separation of these signals allowed for spectral fitting of the absorbance spectra for the determination of local dye concentration.
