| Published: | December 01, 2006 |
| Abstract: | This paper reports and discusses the results of the recent ISCD-NIST USMS Workshop on Standards and Measurements for Assessing Bone Health. The purpose of the Workshop was to assess the status of efforts to standardize and compare results from dual-energy absorptiometry (DXA) scans and then to identify and prioritize ongoing measurement and standards needs. The results of the Workshop are given in terms of the trends and findings from analyzing the measurement needs that the attendees identified. |
