Making GIF files with Photoshop

• a)  Import the folder of images as one image with lots of layers.
  • 1)  File / Import / Folder as Frames...
  • 2)  Click on the optomized tab to 'optimize' the image.  (I don't know if you really need to do this.)
• b)  Show the animation palette, if not already there
  • Window / Show Animation
• c)  Set the delay time for all of the frames.
  • 1) Click on left frame
  • 2) Shift-click on the right frame.
  • 3) Use the little arrow at the bottom of any frame to set the delay time.  Time will then be set for all other selected fram
• d) Adjust registration of frames with the move tool (toolbar, upper right).  Make layers semi-transparent temporarily with the layers toolbar.
• e)  Save as GIF file.
  • File / Save Optimized as...
  • Select 'Images only (*.gif)'.
• f)  Check animation speed by dragging the .gif file to any web

  browser.
