Reading a
raw image or data cube, IF there is no .rpl
file with the same name, or the .rpl file you want to use has a different
name.
Normally, the .rpl file
is written and read automatically by
Lispix.
The .rpl file can also be
written using 'Initialize/Write to RPL file' - which saves
the parameter as they have been set. It
does not save theparameters of the front
cube window unless you have initialized them with: 'Initialize/Set using front
image', or have just imported that cube.
The I/O button
can be used directly - without having to initialize the
parameters. They will be set from the .rpl file or from the
cube window.
Import from file
Reads cube or image from binary file. File / Open
now does this, using the rpl file.
Export to file
Writes cube or image to raw binary file.
The image file has no
header informatio
The header information
is stored in the .rpl file with
the same name as the image file.
This is the standard Lispix
format for saving data cubes
Import from ASCII file Reads
cube or image from an ASCII file that has only the raw pixel data. Works
much the same as 'Import from file', but of course much more slowly.
Export as ASCII
spectra file Note - this is out of
date and may be removed later. Save spectra using the options
at the bottom of the Plots Menu - in the
Lispix Menu Bar.
Appends a header
file to beginning of all spectra files.
One number per line
in header and files.
File extension will
be the same as the header file.(use
'All files' to see types other than *.txt.)
Export As ASCII Spreadsheet
Text file, tab delimited for direct reading by Excel*
Orientation in the spreadsheet is the same as the image display.
(0,0) is upper left.
