Image description.

'info / edit image description'

Lispix windows have a description slot that can be edited by the user. The contents of the TIFF imagedescription tag is put here, and if the image is written as TIFF, the tag contains the description slot information.

The description slot is an ASCII string.

Info / miscl - prints image description for the front window, if there, along with other information.
Info / Edit image description - change the image description for the window (not the file)
File / File Utilities Tool / Tiff / imageDescription Prints description for file (without displaying it).

Notes:

Multiple image tiff files can have an image description for each image.
You can't enter newline characters (carriage returns - ASC 13) into the description the way the interface is now. I could add the capability to, say, read the description from a text file.
There is no limit to the length of the image description, at least in the TIFF spec.
As of 5/01, Lispix does not store the image description in any file format but TIFF.
