7/25/2002 TOOLS / Fractal Koch Generating and analyzing Koch fractals

This tool generates fractals related to the Koch snowflake. Lispix draws the fractal to a Koch window which accesses a list of parameters. To make a Koch window, load a parameter file with 'Koch / load ...'(see below). The parameter files are text files that initialize the Koch window.

To change the parameters, either:

1. Use the D,a,b,alpha!, Init, Idx! and Step! buttons.
2. Click on the Koch family window.
'Family / view' displays the chart
'Family / click on' turns on click tool. Click on chart at any (D,a) location to set the D and a parameters of the front Koch window to those values.

To show an individual fractal

koch / make standard This is the simplest way to show a small von Koch triadic island.
koch / load from koch folder A collection of fractals with various sizes and other parameters.
