MacLispix is written in Macintosh Common Lisp. Much of the code is generic Common Lisp, however the user interface, image display and graphic output is tightly related to the Mac operating system.

Common Lisp documentation as hypertext. Kent Pittman, Harlequin Group.
CLIM A common lisp interface. MacLispix does not use this, but it might be a possibility for porting MacLispix to other platforms.
Other Lisps are available that run on the Mac. I have not tried building MacLispix with these.
