James Yen

James Yen has been a member of the Statistical Engineering Division since 1997. He works in statistical data analysis, modeling, and computing in a wide variety of areas, including applications in forensic sciences, information technology, and homeland security. He has a long-standing involvement with the NIST project on the identification of  firearms and toolmarks. In addition, he has worked with the Organic Chemical Metrology group in the certification of over two dozen food and supplement Standard Reference Materials.
