Revised Draft FIPS 201–2 Workshop


NIST is hosting a public workshop on the Revised Draft Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 201-2. The purpose of the workshop is to exchange information on Revised Draft FIPS 201-2, answer questions, and provide clarifications regarding the Draft. Federal Agencies and industry representatives are invited to discuss the Revised Draft FIPS 201-2 and share their observations on the proposed FIPS 201-2 implementation requirements and capabilities.

The event will be webcast live beginning at 8:45am EDT on July 25. The webcast will be available at: http://www.nist.gov/itl/csd/ct/fips2012-webcast.cfm Registration is not required to view the webcast. Questions from webcast participants can be sent to piv_comments@nist.gov.

Participants and observers are encouraged to use the hashtag "#NISTFIPS" when blogging and tweeting about the Draft FIPS201-2 Workshop.

Reference Documentation:  Copies of Revised Draft FIPS 201-2 will not be available at the workshop. If you'd like to reference the document while at the workshop, please print a copy to bring along.

Registration is now closed.

There is no registration fee for this workshop. All attendees must be pre-registered to gain entry to the NIST campus.  Photo identification must be presented at the main gate to be admitted to the conference. International attendees are required to present a passport. Attendees must wear their conference badge at all times while on the campus.
