NIST's mission is to promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards, and technology in ways that enhance economic security and improve our quality of life. To help NIST fulfill this mission, the VCAT panel will provide their views in response to the following questions:

1. How can NIST best support innovation?
2. How can NIST demonstrate its impact on innovation?
3. How can NIST best measure its impact on innovation?
