"Taken from FY 2001 House CJS Conference Report SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY TECHNOLOGY ADMINISTRATION UNDER SECRETARY FOR TECHNOLOGY/OFFICE OF TECHNOLOGY POLICY SALARIES AND EXPENSES The conference agreement includes $8,080,000 for the Technology Administration, instead of $7,945,000 as proposed in the House bill, and $8,216,000 as proposed in the Senate-reported amendment. The conference agreement continues direction as in fiscal years 1998, 1999, and 2000 regarding the use of Technology Administration and Department of Commerce resources to support foreign policy initiatives and programs. |
