“Taken from House Conference Report 106-398 SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY TECHNOLOGY ADMINISTRATION UNDER SECRETARY FOR TECHNOLOGY/OFFICE OF TECHNOLOGY POLICY SALARIES AND EXPENSES The conference agreement includes $7,972,000 for the Technology Administration, as proposed in both the House and Senate bills. No funds are made available beyond fiscal year 2000, as proposed in the House bill, instead of $600,000 made available through fiscal year 2001, as proposed in the Senate bill. The conferees concur with the direction contained in both the House and Senate reports. |
