CSTL environment research activities are focused to
meet the existing and new challenges including climate change, which we are focusing our efforts on standards for greenhouse gases, investigating effects of aerosols on radiative forcing, thermophysical properties to support determination of global warming potentials of atmospheric species, and measurement and standards to support a market-based national “Carbon Cap and Trade” program. These are just a few examples of CSTL's drive to address the nation's critical environmental needs.
