Mike Hernandez is a Process Engineer in the CNST NanoFab Operations Group. Mike has an A.A. in Electron Microscopy from San Joaquin Delta College, Stockton, CA and a B.S. in Business from the University of Maryland. Prior to joining CNST, Mike was the Senior Field Emission SEM Applications Engineer and Laboratory Manager at Hitachi HTA, Gaithersburg, MD. Mike also worked at Micron Technology, Inc., Manassas, VA, as a Senior Engineering Technician for Failure Analysis, and as a TEM engineer for Yield Enhancement. Mike has nearly 20 years of experience working on charged-particle instruments, including TEMs, SEMs, and FIBs. He has received awards for outstanding customer service to several organizations, including IBM ASTC, the US Army Research Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground, and Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Mike's main responsibilities in the NanoFab include training users on the FIB and SEMs and insuring that these instruments are operating at peak performance. |
