Behrang Hamadani is a CNST Postdoctoral Researcher in the Energy Research Group in the CNST. He received a B.S. in Physics from the University of Texas at Dallas, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from Rice University. Based on his research on charge transport phenomena in organic field-effect transistors, he was awarded the Wiess School Graduate Alumni Fellow award by Rice University. Behrang joined NIST in November of 2006 as an NRC Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Semiconductor Electronics Division, working on electrical characterization of novel electronic devices, including transistors, solar cells, and flexible memory cells. In October 2008 Behrang moved to the CNST, where he is working with Nikolai Zhitenev on the development of new measurement methods based on scanning probe impedance spectroscopy for studying the transport properties of photo-generated charge carriers in novel photovoltaic materials.
