GUIDELINES FOR THE BOULDER LABORATORIES WEEKLY BULLETIN
The Boulder Laboratories Weekly Bulletin is used to transmit
selected administrative and general-interest items to NIST, NTIA, NOAA-ERL,
NGDC, and MASC employees. The Bulletin is issued every Friday. Notices
to be included should be submitted in writing or in WordPerfect format
to the Weekly Bulletin editor, Boulder Executive Office, Radio Building,
Room 4001, by 12:00 noon on Wednesday.
1. What can be used
a. Regular features

2. What may not be used
a. Information on charities or solicitations except the Combined Federal
Campaign and the U.S. Savings Bond Campaign or other approved federal programs.
b. Information that should be issued via an official correspondence
(MASC Letter, Bulletin, Cross Service Bulletin, etc.).
c. Items of personal interest (lost and found, to buy or sell and other
want ads, community and other outside activities, etc.).
d. Notices that include brand names or company names (except equipment
demonstrations, excess property listings, and BLEA endorsements).
3. How often an item may be repeated
a. Administrative items requiring participation of employees may be
run three times.
b. Nonadministrative items (i.e., announcements related to retirements,
holiday parties, official employee group activities, etc.) may be run twice.
