APPENDIX A

ACCESS LEVELS
(Gaithersburg)

This appendix provides a partial list of access levels for controlling access to the NIST-Gaithersburg site.  Should an employee require an access level other than Level 1, the supervisor, division chief, or administrative officer, should notify Police Services of the change.  Police Services electronically updates the access card accordingly.  Non-employees must initiate Form NIST-351, NIST ID Card/Pass, properly annotated by their sponsoring organizational unit, send to the Department of Commerce Office of Security for approval, and then to Police Services for completion.
