(RESCISSION)

The conference agreement includes a rescission of $16,000,000 from the NIST Construction account, instead of $31,800,000 as proposed in the Senate-reported bill. This rescission of 16,000,000 reduces the carryover appropriation under this account to $27,600,000. Uses of these remaining funds are addressed in the description of the fiscal year 1997 appropriation under this account.
